Typical Service Life of Workshop Partition Mesh

Material: Metal mesh partitions are the most common type. Wrought iron partitions can last 5 to 10 years with proper maintenance but are prone to rusting, especially in humid environments. Stainless steel partitions, thanks to their excellent corrosion resistance, can have a service life of 10 to 15 years.

Usage Environment: Dry, well-ventilated environments help extend the service life of the partitions. Conversely, environments characterized by high humidity, corrosive gases, or frequent mechanical impacts will significantly shorten their lifespan. For example, partitions in a chemical processing workshop might last only 3 to 5 years, whereas those in a standard machining workshop could last around 10 years.

Installation Quality: Secure installation and sound structural design can effectively extend the service life of the partitions. Improper installation may lead to deformation or damage within a short period.

Routine Maintenance: Regular cleaning, inspection, and repair of minor damage-such as removing rust and applying fresh paint-can slow the aging process and prolong the partition's service life.
